- Overview
As a Deputy Manager-Risk Management, you will oversee the Enterprise Risk Management function, ensuring seamless execution and effective risk mitigation across all operational activities. You will develop and implement a comprehensive framework to identify, assess, and manage risks in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a robust risk management framework, identifying and assessing potential risks and opportunities, and developing strategies to mitigate or capitalize on them.
- Design and implement internal control systems to ensure the integrity of business processes and prevent potential risks.
- Conduct regular reviews of business processes, identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations to enhance risk management.
- Maintain up-to-date risk registers and provide critical risk reporting to stakeholders.
- Qualifications and Experience
- A graduate degree in finance, management, or risk management from a reputable institution. Professional certifications like FRM, CFA, or CBCP are highly valued.
- 4-8 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of successfully managing risk and improving business processes.
- Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of risk identification, assessment, and management frameworks.
- Ability to design and evaluate the effectiveness of controls embedded within business processes.
- Knowledge of risk and governance standards, including COSO framework and Basel Corporate Governance Principles.
