As a key figure in our culinary team, you will maintain high standards of personal presentation and behavior during shifts.

The ideal candidate should have 4 to 5 years of experience in continental cuisine and be able to demonstrate efficient time management, presentation, and workflow.

They must have complete knowledge of the section allocated, as well as a full understanding of the brand and cookery methods/techniques.

Additionally, they should be familiar with COSHH, health & safety, allergens, temperature records, labelling of fridges and food including blast chilling.

Responsibilities include maintaining service of food to assigned task standards/spec/batch cooking, ensuring mise en place of the section is performed to high standards, and maintaining high presentation, correct plating and cooking of food at all times.

They should also ensure daily, weekly and monthly cleaning duties are carried out as instructed by senior chefs and communicate any issues directly to Senior Chefs.

Key skills required include being able to run at least two sections in the kitchen, providing a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times, and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and departments.

Flexibility is also essential, as the candidate may be required to carry out other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capacity as assigned.
