Job Title: Financial Services Representative

About the Role:
  • This role involves working with clients to understand their financial needs and goals, providing them with tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
  • You will be responsible for promoting and selling various banking products and services, including loans, credit cards, savings accounts, insurance, investment products, and other financial services.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets set by the bank, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales and Business Development:
  2.   Actively promote and sell banking products and services to new and existing customers.
  3.   Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term loyalty.
  4.   Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell banking products to existing customers.
  5.   Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitor offerings.
  6.   Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of banking products and services to provide accurate information to clients.
  7.   Match client needs with banking products and services to ensure suitability.
  8. Customer Relationship Management:
  9.   Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  10.   Offer personalized solutions to clients' financial needs.
  11.   Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns.
  12.   Provide top-notch customer service to ensure a positive experience.
  13. Market and Product Knowledge:
  14.   Stay updated on banking industry trends and competitor offerings.
  15.   Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of banking products and services to provide accurate information to clients.
  16.   Identify client needs and match them with banking products and services to ensure suitability.
  17. Lead Generation and Networking:
  18.   Generate leads and prospects through direct selling efforts and referrals.
  19.   Attend events, meetings, and networking opportunities to promote banking services and establish new business relationships.
  20. Sales Reporting and Documentation:
  21.   Track sales activities and maintain records of client interactions, leads, and conversions.
  22.   Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management detailing performance, progress toward targets, and client feedback.
  23.   Ensure all paperwork related to sales transactions is completed accurately and promptly.
  24. Compliance and Risk Management:
  25.   Ensure that all sales activities and client interactions are compliant with banking regulations and policies.
  26.   Conduct due diligence during the client onboarding process to verify identity and assess risk.
  27.   Maintain confidentiality and protect client data in accordance with banking policies and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sales and marketing abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with banking products and services.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
