Job Title: EV Charger Product Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EV Charger Product Engineer to join our team. As an EV Charger Product Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing EV chargers (AC, DC fast chargers) and related components.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and Development: Designing and developing EV chargers (AC, DC fast chargers) and related components.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with hardware and software teams to integrate smart charging features.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with industry standards (ISO 15118, OCPP, IEC 61851, UL, etc.).
  • Testing: Conducting electrical, thermal, and mechanical testing of EV chargers.
  • Test Planning: Developing test plans to validate hardware, firmware, and communication protocols.
  • Failure Analysis: Performing failure analysis and troubleshooting to improve product reliability.
  • Manufacturability: Supporting manufacturing teams with design for manufacturability (DFM).
  • Quality Control: Ensuring quality control processes and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Supplier Management: Working with suppliers for component selection and validation.
  • Communication Protocols: Implementing and testing communication protocols like OCPP, Modbus, and CAN.
  • Security: Ensuring secure data transfer between EV chargers, cloud platforms, and mobile apps.

Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Bachelor Of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics & Communication or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience with firmware development (C, C++, Python) for EV chargers.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM), excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, mechanical, compliance).
