Energy Utility Lead Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Energy Utility Lead to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, energy systems, and urban infrastructure.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for electrical, ELV, and energy systems aligned with urban planning goals.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for electrical, ELV, and energy systems aligned with urban planning goals.
  • Lead design and engineering of electrical distribution, renewable energy integration, EV charging infrastructure, and smart metering systems.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian and international standards and coordinate with regulatory authorities.
  • Oversee and review all electrical design drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design standards.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies, sustainable design practices, and energy-efficient solutions in electrical infrastructure.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and value engineering to optimize performance and cost.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, civil, mechanical, plumbing, ICT, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and coordinated designs.
  • Represent the company in discussions with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with Master's degree in Energy Systems, Urban Infrastructure, or Business Administration.
  • PMP or LEED AP certification preferred.
  • At least 5 years of work experience and 10 years leading functions in mid-large-scale organisations.
