Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned lighting systems expert to spearhead the design and development of innovative solutions for Vehicle Parts & Lighting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing cutting-edge lighting systems and plastic/sheet metal parts for all projects, meeting stringent targets for performance, quality, cost, and weight.
  • Managing part layout and packaging from concept stage to final design, considering functionality, manufacturability, cost, and styling intent.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including electrical and electronics experts, to define interface requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory norms and validating designs against industry standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong experience in designing and developing vehicle lighting systems and parts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex layouts and packaging.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory norms and compliance requirements for vehicle lighting.
  • Proven track record of defining Design Verification Plans (DVPs) and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Diploma in a relevant field, such as engineering or product design.
