Supply Chain Planning Expert Role

In this strategic position, you will play a key role in providing expert insights to clients by analyzing their business needs and challenges. To achieve this, you will engage in:

  • Meeting with clients to understand their requirements and pain points.
  • Conducting quantitative and observational data analyses using your analytical skills.
  • Formulating and presenting recommendations to clients based on the insights gained.

Main Responsibilities

You should have a deep understanding of supply chain planning, demand/supply planning, and inventory optimization strategies. Additionally, you should possess hands-on experience with similar supply chain planning software.

Key Requirements

To succeed in this position, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in supply chain planning, with significant hands-on work in similar software.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like Power BI and Advanced Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.

Tech Skills

You should have a solid functional and technical understanding of Master Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). Additionally, you should be proficient in building and maintaining data models, creating custom workflows, and integrating with enterprise systems.

Certifications and Experience

A certification like Kinaxis Rapid Response Author or Contributor is an added advantage. You should also have consulting experience, including assessments and implementations, as well as documented requirements and processes.
