About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Development Engineer with expertise in Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Generative AI applications. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for AI-powered applications, leveraging their knowledge of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithmic techniques to craft efficient solutions.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for AI-powered applications, utilizing microservices architecture and containerization to ensure high availability and scalability.
  2. Collaborate with ML/AI researchers and data scientists to productionize models, working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning capabilities into our products.
  3. Implement efficient data pipelines to support training, evaluation, and deployment of models, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
  4. Optimize inference systems for low-latency, high-throughput environments, using techniques such as model pruning, knowledge distillation, and quantization to reduce computational overhead.
  5. Evaluate and integrate Generative AI APIs/SDKs into production systems, assessing their feasibility and potential impact on our business.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software development and AI/ML.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages: Python, Java, Go, or Node.js, with expertise in frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
  • Experience with ML/AI frameworks and tooling, including popular libraries and APIs like OpenCV, scikit-learn, or Hugging Face Transformers.
