Structural Design Lead

The ideal candidate will be responsible for spearheading the structural design process from inception to completion. This involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and construction teams to create innovative solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the structural design process for residential and commercial projects, ensuring timely completion and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop structural designs that incorporate the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Conduct site visits to assess structural integrity and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Prepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications to support project deliverables.
  • Review and approve structural design plans created by junior team members, providing constructive feedback and guidance as needed.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute technical expertise on structural design matters to drive project success.
  • Stay current on industry developments, attending conferences, workshops, and seminars to expand knowledge and skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in structural design, preferably with a background in leading design teams.
