Lead Structural Design Engineer

We seek a seasoned Lead Structural Design Engineer to drive engineering services for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Structural Analysis & Design: Perform conceptual, analysis and design of structures from steel, aluminum, rigid bus bars, concrete foundations for equipment like breakers and transformers.
- Technical Leadership: Provide leadership, training, mentorship to junior engineers ensuring quality control adherence, performing reviews of production drawings and documents.
- Project Execution: Participate in development of drawings, proposals, procurement packages preparing conceptual designs, material take-offs, cost estimates adapting and modifying standard approaches as needed.
- Collaboration: Coordinate design activities with other disciplines effectively communicating with other engineering teams supporting recruitment initiatives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Master's may substitute one year experience.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years related experience focusing on substation structures and equipment foundations, U.S. and U.K. projects preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge industry codes AISC, ACI, IBC, IEEE, BS, EU strong computer skills including RISA 3D, Staad.Pro proficiency AutoCAD, MicroStation a plus.
- Personal Attributes: Strong analytical problem-solving skills keen attention detail ability make presentations compose reports manage workload effectively mentor collaborate diverse teams.
