Key Challenges in this Role:

This role is ideal for a legal professional who enjoys advisory work and can handle complex employment law matters, including compliance, advisory, investigations, and contentious issues.

Some of the key challenges you will face include advising clients on employment and labour law issues, representing them before labour authorities and tribunals, drafting and negotiating employment-related documentation, and staying abreast of developments in Indian employment law.

  • Advise clients on employment contracts, HR policies, compensation structures, and termination matters
  • Represent clients before labour authorities, tribunals, and other forums as necessary
  • Draft and negotiate employment-related documentation and settlement agreements
  • Stay up to date with Indian employment law and contribute to knowledge management initiatives

Candidate Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • LL.B. from a reputable Indian law school
  • 7–12 years of post-qualification experience with a top-tier law firm or leading in-house legal department
  • Strong command of Indian labour laws, industrial regulations, and case law developments
  • Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical skills
