Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform for various modules like ITSM, ITAM, HRSD, and other business process areas.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define, document, and implement functional requirements.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using APIs, web services, MID Servers, etc.
  • Build and maintain business rules, workflows, UI actions, script includes, scheduled jobs, and other ServiceNow components.
  • Optimize platform performance and usability by following best practices in development, code structure, and testing.
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for technical issues and provide solutions.
  • Lead code reviews and ensure proper documentation of development activities.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.
  • Stay updated with new ServiceNow features, releases, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.
  • 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and platform customization.
  • Proficient in ITSM, ITAM, and other ServiceNow modules.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
  • Experience in JavaScript, AngularJS, REST/SOAP web services, and integration technologies.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow workflow automation and business process optimization.
  • ServiceNow Certification (Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
