Job Title: Placement Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Placement Manager to build and strengthen industry linkages for student placements across South India. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in connecting students with top employers and driving career success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Strong Employer Networks: Foster relationships with leading employers across beauty, wellness, healthcare, hospitality, retail, and allied industries.
  • Organize Campus Placement Drives: Manage campus placement drives, job fairs, and employer engagement sessions to showcase students' skills and talents.
  • Align Student Skills with Market Needs: Collaborate with Centre Heads and trainers to ensure students acquire relevant skills and knowledge in demand by employers.
  • Guide Students in Resume Preparation: Assist students in preparing effective resumes and enhancing their interview readiness and workplace etiquette.
  • Maintain Employer Databases: Track placement outcomes, maintain accurate employer databases, and provide regular MIS reports.
  • Cross-Sector Placement Opportunities: Identify and explore opportunities for students to gain experience in multiple sectors, maximizing their employability.
  • Retention and Feedback Mechanisms: Develop strategies to improve employer satisfaction and retention rates through constructive feedback mechanisms.
Requirements
  • Graduate/MBA Degree: Hold a Graduate or MBA degree with 4-8 years of experience in placements, recruitment, or HR.
  • Strong Industry Network: Possess a strong network of contacts in South India's industry, enabling effective communication and collaboration with employers.
  • Open to Candidates from Various Backgrounds: Consider candidates from HR/Recruitment Consulting or Placement Aggregator backgrounds, bringing diverse perspectives and skills.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills to succeed in this role.
  • Target-Driven with Proven Ability: Showcase a proven ability to meet placement commitments and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office/MIS Reporting: Be proficient in using MS Office applications and MIS reporting tools to manage data and track performance.
