We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to join our team. As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating and validating wireframes, prototypes, and design systems that bring simplicity, trust, and impact to digital experiences.

You will conduct user research, usability testing, and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to deliver intuitive, accessible, and delightful interfaces that drive adoption, retention, and empowerment of users.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 3 years designing for mobile-first products at scale. They will have proven experience shipping customer-facing apps with measurable adoption and engagement impact.

A strong command of information architecture, interaction design, and visual hierarchy is required. The candidate should also have hands-on experience conducting field research and usability testing with diverse user groups.

Key skills include expertise in Figma / Adobe XD, prototyping tools, and user research methods. Familiarity with design for low-bandwidth, multilingual, and offline-first contexts is also preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning the design strategy and quarterly UX roadmap aligned to business goals.
  • Translating product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and Miro.
  • Defining and maintaining design systems, UI patterns, and style guides to ensure visual and functional consistency.
  • Partnering with Product Owners to convert epics and user stories into design deliverables with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Conducting end-to-end user research: interviews, field visits, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Translating feedback into actionable design improvements, balancing usability, accessibility, and technical feasibility.
  • Championing UX for rural contexts: vernacular flows, low-bandwidth/offline-first design, accessibility, and culturally relevant trust cues.
  • Collaborating closely with Engineering to ensure pixel-perfect handoff, clarity on design specifications, and smooth implementation.
  • Running design experiments (A/B testing, prototypes) and analyzing outcomes to optimize key funnels (onboarding, engagement, transactions).
  • Ensuring compliance with accessibility standards, data privacy guidelines, and local regulations in all user interfaces.
  • Preparing demos, storyboards, and training material for cross-functional launches.
  • Maintaining awareness of industry trends, competitor interfaces, and evolving UX best practices.

Skill Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in UI/UX design.
