The Role

We are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and intuitive user experiences for our digital products.

We are building:

  • ZANG - a shopping search engine
  • AfterLife - a post death messaging platform
  • X - a debt transfer B2B software

Responsibilities

User Research:

  • Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions.
  • Develop user personas, journey maps, and use case scenarios.

Wireframing and Prototyping:

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize design concepts.
  • Iterate designs based on feedback and usability testing.

Visual Design:

  • Design visually appealing and cohesive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across products.

User Testing:

  • Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to validate design solutions.
  • Analyze user feedback and iterate on designs to improve user experience.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Interaction Design:

  • Design interactive elements and animations to enhance user engagement.
  • Ensure interactions are intuitive and align with user expectations.

Responsive Design:

  • Ensure designs are responsive and provide a seamless experience across different devices and screen sizes.

Design Tools:

  • Be proficient in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and other relevant tools to create and share designs.
  • Stay updated with the latest design tools and trends.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for design processes, guidelines, and specifications.
  • Ensure documentation is accessible and up-to-date.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and process.
  • Proficiency in Figma & Adobe suite.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and a creative problem-solving mindset.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.
  • Understanding of animation principles and experience with animation tools.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines.
