Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to become a key player in our banking team, working closely with customers and colleagues to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Engagement & Relationship Building
    • Welcome and assist walk-in customers at the branch, providing personalized service and support.
    • Handle customer inquiries related to savings accounts, current accounts, deposits, loans, and other banking services.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
    • Address customer complaints professionally and escalate unresolved issues to the Branch Manager.
  • Account Management & Operations
    • Assist customers with opening new accounts and completing Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation.
    • Process customer requests for account updates, transfers, and service modifications.
    • Handle cash deposits, withdrawals, cheque clearances, and fund transfers accurately and efficiently.
    • Ensure timely processing of loan applications, credit card requests, and account closures.
  • Sales & Cross-Selling of Banking Products
    • Promote and cross-sell banking products such as loans, credit cards, insurance, mutual funds, fixed deposits, and savings schemes.
    • Understand customer financial needs and offer suitable solutions to enhance business growth.
    • Achieve assigned sales and business development targets set by the branch.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
    • Ensure all customer transactions comply with banking regulations and RBI guidelines.
    • Maintain confidentiality of customer information and follow proper documentation practices.
    • Conduct proper verification and KYC checks for all accounts and financial services.
    • Identify and report any suspicious or fraudulent activities to the compliance team.
  • Branch Coordination & Reporting
    • Work closely with the Branch Manager and other team members to ensure smooth branch operations.
    • Prepare and maintain daily reports related to customer transactions, sales performance, and branch operations.
    • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and product knowledge workshops.
