Customer Service & Relationship Management Welcome and assist walk-in customers at the branch and provide personalized service. Handle customer queries related to savings accounts, current accounts, deposits, loans, and other banking services. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Address customer grievances professionally and escalate unresolved issues to the Branch Manager. 2. Account Management & Operations Assist customers with opening new accounts and completing KYC documentation. Process customer requests for account updates, transfers, and service modifications. Handle cash deposits, withdrawals, cheque clearances, and fund transfers accurately. Ensure timely processing of loan applications, credit card requests, and account closures. 3. Sales & Cross-Selling of Banking Products Promote and cross-sell banking products such as loans, credit cards, insurance, mutual funds, fixed deposits, and savings schemes. Understand customer financial needs and offer suitable solutions to enhance business growth. Achieve assigned sales and business development targets set by the branch. 4. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure all customer transactions comply with banking regulations and RBI guidelines. Maintain confidentiality of customer information and follow proper documentation practices. Conduct proper verification and KYC checks for all accounts and financial services. Identify and report any suspicious or fraudulent activities to the compliance team. 5. Branch Coordination & Reporting Work closely with the Branch Manager and other team members to ensure smooth branch operations. Prepare and maintain daily reports related to customer transactions, sales performance, and branch operations. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and product knowledge workshops. Required Skills & Competencies Technical Skills Basic knowledge of banking products and services. Familiarity with banking software, CRM tools, and MS Office applications. Understanding of cash handling procedures, financial reporting, and reconciliation. Soft Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving ability. Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment. High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
