Quality Assurance Leader

As a Quality Assurance Leader, you will oversee the entire quality module, ensuring that defect detection meets international standards. Your expertise in construction defects will be crucial in defining annotation standards and training AI models with high-quality data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Leadership: Define and implement QA/QC standards for defect detection and annotation, aligning with international best practices.
  • Annotation Oversight: Oversee the defect annotation process, reviewing, validating, and refining annotations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the QA/QC annotation team, setting performance benchmarks and KPIs.
  • Training & Development: Develop comprehensive training programs and continuous education initiatives for annotation specialists and quality inspectors.
  • Process Excellence: Establish clear annotation protocols, review mechanisms, and escalation procedures for complex or ambiguous defect cases.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data science and product teams to improve annotation workflows and provide structured feedback for algorithm training.


Qualifications and Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 15+ years of progressive QA/QC experience in major construction projects, including significant work on large-scale projects in the Middle East/GCC region.
  • Quality Leadership: Proven track record of establishing and upholding quality standards in construction.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of construction defects across all disciplines.
  • Digital Proficiency: Hands-on experience with modern digital QA/QC tools and inspection management software.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills.
