Job Description

The job entails serving as a technical leader for a portfolio of captive insurance clients and providing technical insurance support across the team. There is also the opportunity to get involved in our captive consulting and new business activity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading technically multiple domiciles, preparing/reviewing trial balance, income statement, and balance sheet for captive insurance clients, planning and carrying out different accounting and financial activities like investment reconciliations, cash flow statement & bank account reconciliation, payment documents. They will also be responsible for posting reconciliation and review of balances, preparing/review management, statutory, and regulatory reports, providing audit support, training new joiners, conducting RCA's, leading transitions, analyzing metrics, partnering with leadership to lead change by managing strategic initiatives to meet business needs, driving end-to-end operational excellence projects, identifying development needs for the team and creating development plans, conducting one-to-ones with team members, negotiating deadlines and work planners.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Chartered Accountant with minimum 2 years experience, good communication skills, self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality, advanced MS Excel skills, forward planner who can critically assess his/her own performance, mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior company executives, emphatic communicator, ability to see things from the other person's point of view, sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel to the US, UK, or other domicile locations, keen for new experience, responsibility, accountability, and professional development.
