The Director of Data Science plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization's data science roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing structured data science roadmaps and leading cross-functional teams to successful execution
  • Handling end-to-end client AI & analytics programs in a dynamic environment
  • Discovering solutions in large datasets and driving business outcomes with data-based insights
  • Contributing to internal product development initiatives related to data science
  • Excellent project management skills for delivering complex projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree from a top-tier Institute in a quantitative subject
  • 14+ years of hands-on experience in applied Machine Learning, AI, and analytics
  • Proficiency in scientific programming languages like Python, R, SQL, NoSQL, Spark with ML tools & Cloud Technology (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong grasp of machine learning, deep learning, data mining, and statistical concepts
  • Expertise in client engagement and solution offering in domains such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, CPG, Marketing etc.

Desirable Skills:

  • Deep understanding of ML algorithms for common use cases in both structured and unstructured data ecosystems
  • Comfortable with large-scale data processing and distributed computing
  • Providing required inputs to sales and pre-sales activities
  • Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills
