METRO Global Solution Center (MGSC) is a strategic partner for METRO, a leading international wholesaler with operations in 31 countries through 661 stores and a team of 93,000 people globally. As a global player, METRO operates in a further 10 countries with its Food Service Distribution (FSD) business and is thus active in a total of 34 countries.



Our Locations


We have locations in Pune (India), Düsseldorf (Germany), and Szczecin (Poland). Our teams provide IT & Business operations support to 31 countries, speak 24+ languages, and process over 18,000 transactions a day. We are setting tomorrow's standards for customer focus, digital solutions, and sustainable business models. With over 10 years of experience, we have gained extensive knowledge on how to best serve our internal customers with high quality and passion.



The Role: Business Transformation Leader - Operations Excellence


This role plays a crucial part in driving culture and mindset change within teams. As part of the leadership team, you will contribute to PTP Process strategy & Transformation. You will deliver value to countries through business case realization & improving customer experience (NPS).



Your Key Responsibilities



  • Drive process efficiencies and contribute to Cost Leadership.
  • Contribute towards PTP teams' change management and process transformation including digital.
  • Build team capabilities, individual developments & create career paths.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.

Requirements and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you should have:



  • A Master's degree in business administration or finance from a reputable institute.
  • 10+ years of experience in Supplier Accounting (PTP) End-to-End Process – Transformation, Transition, Service delivery.
  • Experience in people leadership with leading multiple teams across – P2P process.
  • Experience in driving PTP process transformation including but not limited to process improvements, standardization, best practices, and benchmarking.
  • Stakeholder engagement & relationship management including stakeholder visits.
  • Set-up, review, & baseline business & operational KPIs.
  • Drive monthly Governance Call with relevant stakeholders.


About Salary


The estimated salary for this role is around €90,000 per annum, depending on your location and experience level.
