We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aerospace Structure Design Specialist to design, analyze, and validate aerospace structures.
This role involves working on lightweight yet high-strength structural solutions that meet aerospace performance, safety, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop primary and secondary aircraft/UAV structures using composite and metallic materials.
- Perform structural analysis (static, dynamic, fatigue, and impact) using tools like ANSYS.
- Support weight optimization and structural efficiency improvement initiatives.
- Conduct FEA (Finite Element Analysis) for load cases derived from flight, ground, and environmental conditions.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and testing teams to ensure structural integrity and manufacturability.
- Participate in structural testing (static load tests, vibration tests, drop tests) and correlate results with analysis.
- Ensure designs comply with aerospace standards such as MIL-STD, ASTM, or DGCA/CAA regulations.
- Support failure investigation and recommend design improvements.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical / Aerospace / Mechanical / Civil Engineering (with aerospace structural experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of aircraft/UAV structural design principles.
- Hands-on experience with ANSYS.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA, Fusion 360.
- Knowledge of material properties (composite experience in composite layup design and structural bonding techniques, aluminium alloys, titanium, etc.).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, load specifications, and stress reports.
- Pursue innovative design solutions that drive performance and efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
