Key Medical Lead Responsibilities

The Medical Lead supports the development and execution of Medical Affairs plans for designated Therapy Areas. This involves providing scientific information, designing clinical studies, and engaging with Key Opinion Leaders and regulatory stakeholders.

  1. Support country medical affairs strategy aligned with global goals and market conditions.
  2. Coordinate scientific meetings, congresses, and Continuous Medical Education (CME) activities that bring value to the therapy area.
  3. Ensure timely responses to enquiries in line with applicable standards.
  4. Provide medical/scientific input into clinical trial activities, including initiation and oversight of clinical studies within therapeutic areas.
  5. Support country strategy for Non-Interventional Studies/Investigator Initiated Trial activities.
  6. Coordinate review and approval of medical materials and locally developed promotional materials.
  7. Ensure medical insights are provided to cross-functional groups, including Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Quality Assurance, Commercial, and Brand teams.
  8. Identify and assess risks, implement mitigation strategies, and monitor internal controls.
Required Skills and Qualifications

MBBS; MD mandatory with a minimum of 2+ years of industry experience.

  • Non-Interventional Studies (NIS) / Epidemiology Studies
