Job Summary

As a key member of the finance and accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining the department's general ledger and performing financial analysis to identify and analyze variances in the chart of accounts and financial statements. This includes analyzing, recording, and reporting accounting transactions in a timely manner, as well as preparing general ledger entries and account reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage accountants or accounting clerks in maintaining intercompany transactions and implementing accounting policies under the direction of the Accounting Manager.
- Implement processes and procedures to capture, track, and report pre-close and post-month-end activities (Corp and Tax).
- Compile, review, analyze, and record complex transaction movements, balance confirmations, and deviations if any.
- Review account reconciliations prepared by accountants and accounting clerks, as well as audit and entity intercompany queries.
- Lead and support intercompany daily and monthly activities, including reviewing, investigating, and resolving issues relating to intercompany transactions.
- Ensure accuracy of reporting in multiple currencies and conversion techniques to US$.
- Manage month-end accounting consolidation and US$ submission process for CMI entities globally.
- Promote common accounting by maintaining global setups and reporting with high quality.
