API Automation Leadership Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished API Automation Technical Lead to spearhead automation efforts in our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation testing, with a strong foundation in multiple frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive automated test scripts using Java, SoapUI, REST, Linux, Docker, TestNG, Junit, Cucumber, Selenium, or other relevant technologies.
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality test execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and identify opportunities for automation.
  • Liaise with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of automation solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying new skills and ideas to improve automation practices.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in automation testing.
  • Proficiency in at least one automation framework (e.g., Selenium, Appium, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and version control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance testing, E2E testing, and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of Python and Azure-based automation tools.
  • Certifications in automation testing, ITIL, or Agile methodologies.
