ESOP Administration Expert

A pivotal role that entails overseeing the intricacies of Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • ESOP Grant Management: Ensure seamless execution of ESOP grants, vests, and documentation. Collaborate with internal teams to implement stock option transactions efficiently.
  • ESOP Trust Management: Administer all activities related to the ESOP trust, including fund management and allocation of shares. Maintain accurate records of ESOP-related transactions.
  • Employee Support & Communication: Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding ESOP inquiries, including those of overseas employees. Organize training sessions and workshops to enhance employee understanding of the ESOP process.

Liaison with Secretarial Team: Collaborate with the secretarial team to ensure adherence to regulatory and legal aspects of ESOP administration. Coordinate share-related matters and required filings.

Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including periodic filings and reporting with government agencies.

Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date records of all ESOP transactions, including stock option grants, exercises, and forfeitures.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • At least 2 years of experience in ESOP administration or related fields, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Experience working with ESOPs in a publicly listed company.
  • Prior experience in a liaison role between legal, finance, HR, and compliance.
