We're seeking a highly skilled Project Portfolio Manager to join our Traction Project Organisation in Bangalore. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for coordinating a portfolio of projects, ensuring exceptional Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance (QCDP) standards are met.

About This Role

This is an excellent opportunity to apply your comprehensive project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work collaboratively with innovative, resourceful, and committed teammates to drive project success.

  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, allocating resources effectively to meet deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Sourcing, Supply Chain, and more, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and implement bid and project processes on site, driving process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Oversight of competency development activities for your team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Provide operational support to ensure project success, focusing on customer satisfaction and team development.
  • Ensure accurate performance measurement and reporting, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
About You

  • Prior experience in project management, preferably with exposure to the rail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the business and industrial environment, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
  • Familiarity with multi-national and diverse business cultures, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A Project Management certification (IPMA or PMI) is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strategic vision and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
