Role Overview

The PMO Manager role supports the Head of PMO and Portfolio Manager in delivering GBO Project Management Office duties, focusing on tools and systems.

About the Role
  • Drive system solutions, tools, and processes for the GBO PMO team in collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Engage with experience area and central teams to understand pipeline needs, consolidating requirements across the GBO portfolio.
  • Contribute to project portfolio governance materials for various stakeholders.
  • Support project prioritization and resource planning with the Portfolio Manager and Head of PMO.
Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Implement process improvements within the GBO PMO, engaging stakeholders across the organization.
  2. Develop a deep understanding of industry best practices in PMO processes and tools.
  3. Promote effective communication between D&T PMO teams and other stakeholders.
  4. Maintain project governance materials, including recurring reports and risk assessments.
  5. Collaborate in planning, co-delivery, and evaluation of projects across GBO experience areas.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or MBA equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager in a PMO domain.
  • Application administrator/super user experience in project portfolio management applications (e.g., Planview Portfolios).
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
