Job Description:

As a Senior Observability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable observability platforms across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

This involves architecting synthetic monitoring platforms that are secure, resilient, and scalable. Additionally, you will lead the adoption of Dynatrace APM and standardize instrumentation and deployment models. Moreover, you will define onboarding strategies for cloud, hybrid, and edge telemetry sources with a focus on synthetic monitoring.

The ideal candidate will integrate observability tooling (Catchpoint, Dynatrace) to deliver unified insights and evaluate emerging technologies to develop custom synthetic monitoring solutions where needed. Furthermore, you will contribute to open-source or internal observability tooling/standards for synthetic monitoring, drive documentation, training, and cross-team knowledge sharing to strengthen monitoring practices, collaborate with application teams to embed synthetic monitoring into new service architectures, and partner with security teams on compliance, threat detection, and governance related to monitoring.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace and Synthetic Monitoring.
  • Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with other monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
