Cloud Infrastructure Specialist Role

A visionary cloud engineer assists in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role plays a key part in shaping the overall architecture of cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals, scalability requirements, and industry best practices.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design scalable, secure, and highly available AWS architectures to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust AWS solutions that optimize performance and cost.
  • Implement AWS monitoring systems and security measures to safeguard AWS environments, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Develop strategies for optimizing AWS costs without compromising performance or security.
  • Investigate and resolve system failures, recover failed systems, and restore applications.
  • Mentor team members in various facets of cloud engineering.
Required Skills/Experience:
  • 7-9 years experience in Information Technology.
  • Strong experience implementing access control using IAM.
  • Experience with repository management (Git) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible Tower, AWS CloudFormation).
  • Strong AWS implementation and administration experience.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Process and technical documentation skills.
