Job Summary

A Cloud Computing Specialist is responsible for designing, managing and supporting cloud-based infrastructure and applications. They help organizations migrate to the cloud, ensure scalability, security and reliability and optimize cloud resources for cost and performance.

  • Design and deploy cloud solutions using platforms like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure including storage, networking and virtualization.
  • Migrate applications and data from on-premises systems to the cloud.
  • Monitor cloud performance troubleshoot issues and optimize resource usage.
  • Implement security policies backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with development DevOps and IT teams to integrate cloud services.
  • Stay updated on cloud computing trends and emerging technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science IT or related field.
  • Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of networking virtualization and cloud security.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator etc.) preferred.
