Job Title: Compliance Officer

The Role: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented professional to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support compliance and reporting functions.

This position involves close collaboration with internal teams, auditors, and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial execution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting entries in the system">
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable transactions, including vendor payments and customer receipts">
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor daily fund positions">
  • Assist in preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements and MIS reports">
  • Evaluate and maintain compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory returns and payments">
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing for audit and statutory purposes">
  • Coordinate with external auditors during statutory, tax, and internal audits">
  • Support monthly closing activities and financial reporting">
  • Collaborate on fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and related schedules">
  • Identify discrepancies in ledgers and prepare data for tax computation and filing">
  • Monitor compliance timelines and adhere to regulatory deadlines">

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor of Commerce or Master of Commerce degree">
  • Freshers/2–5 years of hands-on experience in accounting and compliance">
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS">
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to handle large data sets">
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational, and time-management skills">
  • Ability to work independently and within a team under tight deadlines">
