Talent Acquisition and Management

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our recruitment and hiring process. As the primary point of contact for all HR-related matters, you will work closely with our team to fill open positions in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing Candidates: Utilize various recruiting channels, including job posting on online websites and social media, to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent.
  • Hiring Process: Conduct interviews, make hiring recommendations, offer employment contracts, and onboard new hires, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Onboarding Process: Ensure seamless integration into the company by preparing visa, accommodation, and other necessary arrangements.
Compensation and Benefits Administration

Accurately process employee payroll, calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and statutory deductions, ensuring compliance with labor laws and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing: Timely and correct distribution of paychecks.
  • Benefit Administration: Manage employee benefits programs, including health and travel insurances, and submit year-end tax documentation and reports.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards and recommend adjustments to compensation and benefits structures as needed.
Learning and Development/ Performance Management

Develop and implement employee training programs to enhance skills and knowledge across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Training Programs: Design and deliver training sessions to improve employee performance and development.
  • Performance Appraisal: Manage the performance appraisal process, working with appraisers to set goals, provide feedback, and rate performance.
HRIS Administration

Administer accurate attendance records, maintain and update HR policies, and ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • HRIS Administration: Oversee and manage the company's HR Information System for employee data and records.
  • Attendance Records: Accurately record leave and work hours.
  • HR Policies: Maintain and update HR policies to ensure compliance with current legal requirements and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or relevant discipline
  • At least 8 years in HR generalist role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Meticulous and organized
  • Able to work independently and as a team player
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and good writing style
  • Working experience in a ship management company and hiring experience for ex-mariner employees advantageous
  • Experience in multinational environment and business communication with overseas office preferred
