Production Supervisor

As a seasoned professional in the manufacturing industry, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations to ensure high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

About This Role:

This critical position involves achieving production targets while upholding excellence in all aspects of production on the shop floor. As a key member of our team, you will supervise and optimize job placement, workflow, and movement of components during various stages of manufacturing.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day production activities to meet set targets.
  • Supervise employees to ensure they have the necessary training and resources to perform their tasks efficiently.
  • Develop and implement layout plans for new projects, including fixture design and machinery installation.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, machine maintenance schedules, and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production processes and implement lean practices.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in solar structure manufacturing or similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control measures, and safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, MS Excel, and production planning software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in setting up new production lines or greenfield manufacturing units.
  • Knowledge of CAD drawings, lean manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodologies.
