Quantity Surveyor Position

In the construction industry, our organization requires a skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs and ensure that all requirements are met. This role is critical to the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The selected candidate will study project scope to guarantee alignment with design requirements.
  • They will validate technical specifications from the design team, ensuring compliance with our standards.
  • This role involves optimizing specifications while adhering to client needs and preferences.
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for validating Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and backing up their calculations.
  • Additionally, they will present BOQs and proposed solutions to management for approval.
  • Our ideal candidate will also check and validate contractor applications for payment.
  • As needed, they will prepare amendments to contract documents.
  • The chosen Quantity Surveyor will validate budget cost analysis based on benchmark cost matrix.
  • Furthermore, they will submit different budget options considering alternative solutions to actual designs.
  • This role requires exploring new products and presenting them for approval.
  • The successful applicant will propose optimization options in budgets.
  • It is essential for this role to meet deadlines for completing budget requirements without delays.
  • The chosen Quantity Surveyor will prepare reports on cost analysis of projects as per management's requirements.
