Job Title: Cost Manager

Accurate cost management is essential for driving business success. As a skilled and experienced Cost Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial planning function, ensuring accurate calculation of product costs, manufacturing overheads, and cost of goods sold (COGS).

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire costing process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain standard costing systems, applying industry best practices.
  • Prepare comprehensive cost budgets aligned with company financial goals, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Regularly update and forecast costs based on business dynamics, utilizing data-driven insights.
  • Monitor expenditure against budgeted figures and take corrective action where necessary.
  • Present findings to senior management, providing actionable recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Institute of Cost and Works Accountants (ICWA) certification required.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis.
  • Proven expertise in managing costing systems and preparing budgets, leveraging ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial regulations.

Desirable Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, enabling timely completion of projects.
