IT PMO Strategy and Control Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Management Office (PMO) Strategist and Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IT project planning, execution, monitoring, controls, and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and Implement IT Governance Frameworks: Create and implement IT project governance frameworks that align with regulatory standards.
2. Evaluate Digital Transformation Initiatives: Collaborate with the CTO to assess the effectiveness, risks, and performance of digital transformation initiatives.
3. Lead Cross-Functional IT Projects: Oversee cross-functional IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, KPI tracking, and cost monitoring.
4. Oversee Multiple IT Projects: Manage multiple IT projects, tracking progress and achieving milestones.
5. Ensure Project Compliance: Ensure project compliance with regulatory requirements.
6. Manage IT Budgets: Manage IT budgets and optimize resource allocation.
7. Develop Dashboards and Reports: Develop dashboards, MIS reports, and project status updates for senior leadership.
8. Implement Change Management Best Practices: Implement change management best practices for smooth adoption of IT solutions.
9. Oversee IT Vendors and Service Providers: Oversee IT vendors and service providers, ensuring SLA adherence.
10. Refine IT Project Methodologies: Continuously refine IT project methodologies by introducing industry best practices.
11. Manage Resources Effectively: Manage resources effectively, including capacity planning and conflict resolution.
12. Maintain Structured Product Documentation: Maintain structured product documentation for stakeholders.
13. Conduct Business Analysis: Conduct business analysis: identify problems, opportunities, and solutions.
14. Gather Requirements and Document Use Cases: Gather requirements, map process flows, and document business use cases.
15. Simplify and Communicate Business Requirements: Simplify and communicate business requirements to ensure stakeholder alignment.
16. Assess Change Proposals and Define Actionable Solutions: Assess change proposals and define actionable solutions.
17. Work with Training Teams: Work with training teams to prepare change management/training plans.
18. Manage System Integration: Manage all phases of system integration: requirement gathering → design → build → test → deploy → production.
19. Communicate Technical Details: Communicate technical details to non-IT stakeholders and functional details to IT teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Expertise in IT project planning, execution, monitoring, controls, and governance.
• Strong ability in data quantification and analytics.
• Designing KPI-driven metrics for IT projects and measuring ROI, risks, delinquency, and early warning signals.
• Budgeting, planning, forecasting, monitoring, and cost-benefit analysis (CBA) for IT projects.
• Designing corporate presentations and demos for investors and internal stakeholders.
• Flexibility and adaptability to organisational requirements.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with consultative and interpersonal abilities.
• Deep understanding of RBI guidelines, NBFC IT regulations, and security policies.
• Familiarity with CBS/CFSS, ERP (SAP, Dynamics 365), Loan Origination Systems (LOS), CRM platforms, APIs, Middleware, Finance ERP, Customer Apps, UI/UX, Digital Lending, Payment Systems, and IT infrastructure/application architecture.
• Risk and dependency assessment with effective mitigation planning.
• Project management experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
• Proficiency in project tracking tools (JIRA, MS Project).
• Strong cost monitoring and IT expense management skills.
• Ability to structure and document problems into analytical frameworks.
• Skilled in SQL, Excel, and business requirement documentation (FSD, HLD, LLD, Use Cases).
