Job Description

Your key responsibilities include leading teams of professionals to manage the delivery of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) engagements for multiple processes across various clients. You will be responsible for guiding your team to conduct effective assessments and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with SOX regulations.

Some of your key tasks will include:

  • Managing a team of staff and seniors to deliver high-quality results within established turnaround times.
  • Providing guidance and support to junior team members to help them grow in their careers.
  • Conducting control rationalization and standardization activities to improve business processes.
  • Evaluating control gaps and providing recommendations to remediate any issues.
  • Defining budgets, tracking actuals, and resource planning/scheduling to ensure efficient use of resources.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and consulting skills.
  • Strong academic history with a degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficient in MS-Office Suite and data analysis/validation tools.
  • Ability to prioritize deliverables effectively to achieve optimal results.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in risks & controls with at least 4 years of experience in SOX/internal controls.
  • Strong understanding of SOX and COSO framework.
  • CIA certification is preferred but not required.
