Senior Storage Engineer Role

We are seeking a seasoned storage professional to join our team as a Senior Storage Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud and storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Storage Solution Design: Design and implement Net App ONTAP storage solutions integrated with AWS, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Cloud Storage Management: Deploy and manage Amazon FSx for Net App ONTAP with high availability, meeting the needs of our clients.
  • Data Migration: Manage data migration from on-premises Net App systems to AWS using tools such as Cloud Sync, Snap Mirror, Data Sync, Net App xcopy, and robocopy.
  • Storage Protocol Configuration: Configure storage protocols including i SCSI, NFS, SMB; manage volumes, snapshots, and data tiering, ensuring seamless data access.
  • Cloud Service Optimization: Collaborate with AWS teams for optimal use of cloud services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Cloud Watch, and Cloud Trail.
  • Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot hybrid storage systems and perform performance tuning and capacity planning to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Disaster Recovery and Data Protection: Implement disaster recovery, backup, and data protection strategies using Net App and AWS native tools.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Create and maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures; ensure security compliance and enforce best practices across cloud and on-premises deployments.
  • Veeam Backup and Replication: Design, deploy, and manage Veeam Backup & Replication solutions for virtual and cloud environments.
