Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Engineer to oversee the management of mission-critical cloud infrastructure for our global customers.

This role involves providing 24x7 managed support for these cloud environments, leading a team and ensuring customer satisfaction exceeds expectations.

You will work closely with DevOps and engineering teams, offering inputs and suggestions to drive collaboration and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster relationships with partners to identify opportunities and deliver solutions

• Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and holistically

• Review tickets and escalate to management when necessary

• Lead a team of Cloud Engineers, providing technical guidance and expertise as needed

• Act as the L3 in case of escalations, resolving issues with a hands-on approach

• Communicate effectively with customers via various channels, including tickets, calls, emails, and periodic sync-up calls

• Evaluate team member performance on a regular basis and provide feedback to the team and HR

Mandatory Skills:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in providing L3 technical support for cloud-first data centers or cloud support services organizations

• In-depth knowledge of cloud, containers, virtualization, and supporting technologies and concepts

• Hands-on experience with Linux, MySQL, VMware/KVM, and on-prem cloud technologies

• In-depth experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus/Nagios/Zabbix/SolarWinds/ManageEngine)

• Good working knowledge of Storage, Networking, Backup, and Bash

• Excellent communication skills with clear verbal and written articulation

• Experience leading a team of at least 4 people in this role
