Cloud Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Project Manager to oversee the delivery of cloud-based projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in managing cloud or IT infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS & Azure), project management methodologies, and stakeholder coordination.


The Cloud Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering cloud migration or implementation projects on time and within budget. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives, monitoring project progress and performance using appropriate tools and techniques, identifying and managing project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring compliance with security and governance standards, and preparing and presenting project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.


This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, as well as minimum 1 year of experience in project management, preferably in cloud or IT infrastructure. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS & Azure is also essential. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, knowledge of Agile/Scrum or other project management methodologies, and PMP, PRINCE2, or cloud certifications (preferred but not mandatory).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and deliver cloud migration or implementation projects on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including cloud architects, developers, and business stakeholders.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
  • Monitor project progress and performance using appropriate tools and techniques.

  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
