Legal Business Development Manager

The Legal Business Development Manager will be a key member of the Legal leadership team, working closely with senior management to drive business growth and strategic decision-making.

This role involves significant interaction with internal stakeholders, providing expert advice on legal issues and collaborating with external partners to achieve business objectives.

  • Provide legal counsel on a range of commercial matters, including contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and litigation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of business strategies, leveraging expertise in law and business.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects and initiatives, ensuring successful outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.

To succeed in this role, you will have a deep understanding of commercial law and a proven track record of driving business growth. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

We are seeking an exceptional individual with:

  • A law degree from a reputable institution, with at least 15 years of experience in a multinational company, preferably in the power/infrastructure/energy sectors.
  • A mix of in-house and law firm experience is highly desirable.
