Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join our team. This role requires daily interaction with suppliers and collaboration with other departments to ensure efficient processing of company invoices and end-to-end Accounts Payable processes.

About the Role:

  • Registering supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Investigating supplier invoice disputes on a daily basis and resolving any issues that arise
  • Running daily, weekly and monthly reports in Excel and analyzing data to inform business decisions
  • Reconciling Supplier statements and managing dispute handling processes
  • Archiving and filing documents in line with country legislation
  • Working closely with Business Development Managers, Product Specialists and aligned vendor and partner contacts to drive business growth
  • Managing and maintaining the pipeline for opportunities within defined criteria and accounts base
  • Assisting and supporting accounts on queries and providing excellent customer service
  • Taking responsibility for self-development in both product knowledge and job competencies, achieving all objectives set

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A strong desire to give excellent customer service and resolve enquiries efficiently and professionally
  • A high-level understanding of the client product portfolio, which will be provided through training
  • A confident self-starter and strong team player who can work effectively under their own initiative
  • Ability to cope under pressure and prioritize work accordingly
  • Sound business acumen and ability to understand and interact with the customer
  • Competent in standard Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables)
  • Numerate with accounting knowledge and adept with Supply chain management accounting (preferably Electronic industry)
  • Experience from a similar role would be an advantage
