Job Title: Technical Network Specialist

This is a detail-oriented professional role that involves creating and implementing a structured documentation framework within Confluence for the network across multiple sites. As a Technical Network Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing conventions frameworks for documenting network details in Confluence, including site-specific as-built diagrams, contacts, and network configurations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design standardized templates for site documentation, runbooks, and design guidelines to ensure consistency and ease of access.
  • Convert existing network design data into Lucid templates aligned with the new structure.
  • Pilot the documentation process on a subset of sites, serving as an example and training model for the team to follow for remaining and new sites.
  • Develop training materials and conduct sessions to ensure smooth adoption of the new documentation structure.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with network documentation and designing structured documentation frameworks.
  • Experience using Confluence as a documentation platform.
  • Familiarity with Lucid chart or similar diagramming tools for network design templates.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with technical teams and gather site data.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, strong experience with network documentation, and proficiency in Confluence and Lucid chart.

About the Role:

This is a temporary contract position for 3.5 months. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's documentation processes.
