Platform Architect Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Architect to lead the design and implementation of our scalable platform architecture. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in full-stack development, cloud computing, and DevOps.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing a scalable platform architecture that meets the needs of 5,000+ concurrent users and 100,000+ total users.
  • Leading the implementation of observability practices using Datadog, New Relic, Sentry, or OpenTelemetry.
  • Mentoring junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, architecture clinics, and pair programming sessions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in an architecture or senior technical leadership role.
  • Strong full-stack expertise with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
  • Demonstrated success in designing multi-tenant architectures and scalable systems handling 1,000+ requests per minute.
  • Advanced proficiency in AWS, including EC2, Lambda, RDS, IAM, CloudFront, and Cognito.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with education platforms or SaaS tools for service businesses.
  • Experience with event brokers such as Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ.
