Job Title: QA Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation and manual testing, with experience in fast-paced Agile environments.

The successful applicant will possess at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) along with expertise in Selenium, SQL, API testing, and manual testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright
  • Perform manual, functional, regression, and exploratory testing
  • Conduct API testing to validate endpoints, payloads, and integrations
  • Write and execute SQL queries to verify data accuracy and integrity
  • Work with Selenium WebDriver for cross-browser testing scenarios
  • Collaborate with developers, BAs, and product owners to define requirements and testing strategies
  • Document defects, test results, and ensure timely closure
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for regression testing
  • Adhere to QA best practices and contribute to continuous process improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of QA experience with a mix of automation and manual testing
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript or JavaScript)
  • Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for database testing
  • Proven experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools)
  • Strong understanding of manual testing practices and Agile methodologies
  • Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
