Senior Quality Assurance Specialist - Automation and Manual Testing

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Specialist with 2-4 years of experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing methodologies.

  • Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases based on business and technical requirements.
  • Define testing methodologies and standards to ensure robust quality assurance practices.
  • Execute functional, regression, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Perform exploratory and ad-hoc testing to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using tools such as Selenium or similar.
  • Automate test cases for UI, API, and performance testing.
  • Establish and maintain automation frameworks for efficiency and reusability.
  • Conduct load, stress, and scalability testing using tools like JMeter or similar.
  • Collaborate with security teams to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and expectations.
  • Provide clear and detailed reports on test execution, coverage, and defects.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and skills assessment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in QA, with expertise in both manual and automation testing.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and programming/scripting languages.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database testing.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools and security testing fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and defect tracking tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CI/CD & DevOps Integration: Implement test automation in the CI/CD pipeline using tools like Jenkins or similar.
