Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our software development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software applications using Java, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
  • They will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • A deep understanding of relational databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL) and ability to write/review complex operational queries is essential.
  • The role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working in retail industry.
  • Expert technical experience in software development using Java, JavaScript, data and database design, SQL, XML, XSD, JSON, Linux, and Web services.
  • Experience working with STIBO STEP systems configuration, development, architectural design, and integration.
  • In-depth understanding of API RESTful services.
  • Capable of defining deployment process and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • STIBO STEP Certification is an added advantage.
  • MDM/PIM experience preferred.
