We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to join our team as a Network Infrastructure Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced individual to take on a key leadership role in shaping the future of our network systems.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation, optimization, and security of our systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert-level technical support for network-related issues across LAN, WAN, and Data Center environments.
  • Configuring, monitoring, and maintaining networking equipment such as Cisco, Dell, and HP switches and routers.
  • Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving complex network performance and connectivity issues using diagnostic tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, and Cisco Prime.
  • Implementing and managing security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security measures to safeguard the network infrastructure.

In addition to these responsibilities, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in network architecture, with expertise in LAN, WAN, and Data Center network architectures and their respective protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.). They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Networking Equipment: Strong hands-on experience with configuring and managing Cisco, Dell, and HP switches and routers.
  • Network Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and resolve complex network issues effectively, with a focus on minimizing downtime.
  • Diagnostic Tools: Expertise in using diagnostic and monitoring tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and Cisco Prime for network analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Security Knowledge: Deep understanding of network security, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security mechanisms to ensure network integrity and confidentiality.
  • Network Architecture: Knowledge of LAN, WAN, and Data Center network architectures and their respective protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
  • Experience with Routing Protocols: Strong understanding of common routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex network issues.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
