Job Title: Senior Network Architect

Reporting To: Manager, Engineering Department

People: Matrix Management of a Team of Engineers

Role Summary:

  • Design and implement complex network infrastructure for customers, supporting WAN, LAN, WLAN on multi-vendor networks.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for network implementations, including change approval processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to engineers in the team to ensure high-quality services are delivered to customers.
  • Lead the definition of strategies required to deliver complex projects.
  • Manage project deliverables for complex customer designs and implementations.
  • Analyze complex incidents and act as escalation engineer for internal teams and clients.
  • Support fourth-level operations as part of the Incident and Problem Management Process.
  • Develop processes for other engineers to follow, ensuring successful delivery of solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Two or more technical certifications at associate or professional levels related to networking.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Juniper JNCIP or JNCIE level, focusing on WAN, LAN, WLAN.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Aruba Central, Aruba switches, and Aruba WLAN highly beneficial.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Mist dashboard and WLAN also highly beneficial.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Cisco CCNP or CCIE level on WAN and LAN beneficial.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for success in this role.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of technical experience in designing and implementing large-scale customer networks.
  • Experience within telecommunications organizations or international companies would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment, with international customers and time zones.
  • Ability to provide guidance and coaching to other engineers at a technical level.
